One Draft at a Time Rescue is committed to caring for draft horses that come to us due to abuse, neglect or abandonment, focusing on those at risk of imminent slaughter.  We will be focusing on one horse at a time in order to give them our full attention everyday until placed.  All horse will be brought up to date with the vet & farrier before placement and will go be placed with an adoption contract.  They of course are always welcome back if the adopter's situation changes but we will do our best to find them the right home the first time.  We are 501c3 public charity and accept donations, monetary, hay, grain, tack or anything else of value in exchange for a donation reciept.
